In Charenton, crib Bordeaux is implanted on a narrow plot sandwiched between a railway trench and an urban complex consisting of multiple units of average height.

In the South, built buildings housing mass crushes the site. To the north, broad skyline undergoes noise pollution due to regular operation of trains . Despite this, it emerges from the whole urban quality and the north façade , with its plunging slope on the tracks evokes a wall overgrown.

We sought a rational function and designed the facades by the best features and site constraints to compose a playful building with space and volume are tools in the service of pedagogy.

Each entity can be autonomous and has protected outdoor areas that generate a set of patios, terraces and crossed volumes of light and protected from noise.

Stretching along the track, the set is divided by the use of traditional and contemporary materials that generate an image of transition between the railway area and the residential fabric.
